Accept your offer - Sponsored students

Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at RMIT University

If you are being sponsored or have received a scholarship, follow these steps to accept your offer.

If you are not a sponsored/scholarship student, see How to accept your offer.

How to accept

You can accept online by completing the following

Sponsor Details section:

  • Sponsor - select the relevant sponsor name from the dropdown
  • Sponsorship coverage - select either Fully Sponsored or Partially Sponsored
  • Is sponsorship approved? - select Yes

Documents sections:

  • Upload Financial Guarantee

Deposit payment is not required unless the sponsorship/scholarship do not cover the full amount.

Do you need to make a payment?

If your sponsorship/scholarship does not cover your tuition fee and/or Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for any family member attached for the duration of your visa, then you will need to request a new offer and pay any outstanding amount mentioned in the offer letter.

Payment methods

You can make your payment via Convera (formerly known as Western Union) directly from the Applicant Portal.

After you accept your offer

You will receive an email confirmation once your acceptance has been processed. This can take up to five working days.

If you plan to apply for a Student Visa, you will need a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). RMIT will make your CoE available and notify you when it’s ready. Once your CoE is available, you can access online.

Depending on your situation you may be required to submit additional documents to receive your CoE.

You can submit the additional documents required online or by replying to the offer email.
