Received an offer to study at RMIT? Congratulations! That means it's time for you to enrol and secure your place at RMIT.

To begin, select if you're a domestic or international student. The enrolment process is different depending on which type of student you are.

Are you a domestic or international student?

Domestic students

You are a domestic student if you are:

  • A citizen or permanent resident (PR) of Australia
  • A New Zealand citizen
  • A Temporary Protection Visa holder

International students

You are an international student if you have a visa issued by the Australian Government, other than the above.

Note: If you become a permanent resident (PR) while studying, you will no longer be considered an international student.

Vocational education (VE)

Certificate, diploma or advanced diploma.

 

Are you studying in a government subsidised place (GSP) or full fee place? To find out, check your RMIT offer email then select from the guides below. 

Higher education (HE)

Bachelor degree, associate degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma or master's degree.

Higher Degree by Research (HDR)

PhD qualifications.

Apprentice and trainee

Apprenticeships and traineeships.
