Remya Ramesh

Remya secured an internship with the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) where she helped improve the functionality of their Tropical Cyclone Data Portal, and opened up new possibilities for interactive web-based applications.

Australian Transport Safety Bureau

Our national transport safety investigator, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) investigate aviation, marine and rail transport incidents. The ATSB is now working with RMIT to deliver nationally accredited safety investigation training and facilitate transport safety research.

Voop.Global

Founded by People and Culture expert Kristin O’Brien, Voop.Global uses machine learning and big data to assess company culture, highlighting when it’s at risk and sharing suggestions to drive cultural change.

Jesse Medical

Startup Jesse Medical hold the exclusive rights to commercialise pioneering RMIT-developed Parkinson’s screening technology that can detect the disease before physical symptoms arise.

Building Bridges in Fiji

Civil engineering student Hamish spent six weeks in Waivaka, Fiji, with Reach 4 Your Future Foundation. He worked on designing a bridge to help locals cross a flood-prone river.


Connecting with Google

Business student Luke believes that his WIL experiences at ME Bank, Whybin TBWA and Google helped him figure out his career path.


Going places with engineering

Aerospace engineering student Nicolette says her WIL experience at Rolls Royce, and a placement in Germany with automotive manufacturing giant Denso, has given her a competitive edge in the job market.
