After two years of being overseas back in my country and doing online classes, finally meeting new people going for classes and having uni life back again, it is pretty exciting for any student.
(Pratik)
I did my degree in lockdown, so I think this is the best time to be in Melbourne. Everything's opening up. RMIT campus is back, like the campus is buzzing.
(Neysa)
I'm really excited to see my friends and just spend a lot of time here in Melbourne. Eat food, coffee, and everything, all the Melbourne cultures.

Oh, I am loving it. I'm meeting as many people as I can, networking as much as possible, attending as many events as I can to get the experience and exposure.

I'm really excited because like in the past years I’ve been learning online, and I'm really excited to come to the campus to see like face to face with my teachers and other students.

So I'm enjoying my events, doing some socialising, meeting new people.

I am practically going out almost every day and I'm actually going camping next week.

I have a bucket list. I've gone to Great Ocean Road so far, but I have a bucket list of things to do around Melbourne.

The coffee definitely! There's a lot of coffee places in RMIT.

So in Melbourne I've been to like several, like art galleries, especially to the NGV.
(Agam)
With RUSU and Indian club I've made a lot of connections like I know half of my university now. The past two years I just knew like 20 people, and now it's more than 500 people that I know.

I'm actually a part of PPIA it's an Indonesian association club here at RMIT. I meet lots of Indonesians and they make me feel like it's home when I'm away from home which is so good. And all of the people here are just so nice including the lecturers.

I love playing sport and I met a lot of people playing basketball sharing the same hobbies, that is great.

It’s very multicultural because everybody is included. And you know, you never feel like an outsider being in this country because they're very friendly and they talk to you no matter where you're from.

Really friendly. The people are really like encourage international students to live here.

Job Shop has helped me prepare my resume, prepare my cover letter, edit my resume and cover letter as per Australian standards and land a job.

So RMIT connect has been beautiful. It helped me in lockdown it helped I think a lot of students in everything regarding the enrolment regarding their well-being.

Isn't living in the city anybody's dream! You're close to uni, you're close to malls, you're close to everything. I mean I can run to uni like five minutes before class and I'll be on time. Who doesn't want that.

It's really great to be living in the city and like studying here, everything is just right around the corner, it's walking distance and food is literally everywhere.

At your free time you should study and at last on weekends, you should go for adventure. You should go for parties.

Go out of your comfort zone and make some friends from outside your country because you cannot do that in your own country.

Australia is beautiful. I've been showing my friends the places I visited and my life here and they say your education is actually a holiday. So I want to explore what's next for me is exploring the whole of Australia and enjoying the experiences here.
